At Quantum Clinical Wellness, our approach is simple: listen, evaluate, explain, and create a plan together.
QCW offers focused outpatient care including QuickCare for appropriate non-emergency concerns, metabolic and chronic health evaluation and follow-up, medical weight management, sexual health services, laboratory and screening services, physicals, and select telehealth visits. Available services may vary based on clinical appropriateness and current scheduling.
No. New patients may schedule services designated for initial visits or public booking. Follow-up appointments are intended for established QCW patients who have already completed the appropriate initial evaluation.
The initial evaluation is a more comprehensive visit used to understand your health history, current concerns, medications, risk factors, available results, and treatment goals. Follow-up visits focus on your response to the care plan, relevant trends or results, medication management when appropriate, and next steps.
Your initial consultation includes a clinical evaluation of your weight and health history, previous weight-management efforts, relevant medical conditions and medications, treatment goals, and available laboratory information. Your individualized plan may include nutrition, activity and behavioral recommendations, monitoring, and prescription medication when clinically appropriate.
No. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription or any specific medication. Treatment recommendations are based on your individual medical history, clinical evaluation, medication safety considerations, applicable requirements, and professional judgment.
Not necessarily. Some point-of-care testing may be performed when clinically appropriate, but outside laboratory testing and other diagnostic services may have separate charges. You will be informed when additional testing is recommended.
Depending on the test and your care plan, specimens may be collected at QCW when available or you may be directed to an approved patient service center. Your provider will give you instructions based on the testing ordered.
QCW offers sexual health testing and screening options. The best appointment type depends on whether you are seeking routine screening or have symptoms, a known exposure, treatment needs, or other concerns. A clinical visit may be recommended when evaluation or treatment is needed.
QCW treats sexual health concerns with privacy, respect, and discretion. Health information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements. Please review our Notice of Privacy Practices for additional information about how protected health information is used and disclosed.
Yes. Select services may be available by telehealth when clinically appropriate. Some concerns require an in-person examination, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, laboratory work, imaging, or referral. Telehealth availability also depends on applicable location and licensure requirements.
QCW offers select school, camp, sports, college sports, and basic employment physicals. Please bring any required forms, identification, immunization records, or other documentation requested by your school, employer, or organization.
Medication may be prescribed, continued, adjusted, or discontinued when clinically appropriate following an evaluation. A visit does not guarantee a prescription, refill, antibiotic, weight-management medication, or any other specific treatment.
Results are reviewed through QCW's clinical workflow and communicated according to the type of test and clinical need. Some results may require a follow-up appointment for interpretation, treatment planning, additional testing, or medication management.
An abnormal result does not always mean the same thing for every patient. Your provider may recommend a follow-up visit, repeat or additional testing, treatment, monitoring, or referral depending on the result and your overall clinical picture.
QCW's current services are primarily structured as self-pay. Any insurance participation or billing options should be confirmed directly with QCW before your visit. Outside laboratories, pharmacies, imaging centers, specialists, and other third parties may have their own billing policies.
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact QCW as soon as possible so the appointment time can be made available to another patient. QCW does not currently charge a fee solely for cancelling less than 24 hours before an appointment.
